Although it sounds interesting to live in space, I think I would just stay on earth.

Since I first read about the suicide mission to Mars, I've been stressing out about the poor people who are going there with no hope of returning.  What kind of person is THAT adventurous? Hopefully there will be resupply ships for their necessities, but it's unbelievable to me that anyone would sign up for this certain hardship.

Id rather live on earth......but if you said i had to stay at my mother-in-laws id choose outer space!!

Of course im kidding....but tried to get a chuckle!!
Oh I'd have to agree with you 100%.  And I am NOT kidding.  Actually, I would stay right here on this gorgeous planet and send the mother-in-law and everyone else like her to space.

i rather stay on earth but i would want to explore space. Also to countrygirl12 mars can be teraformed into another earth because of the conditions on that planet but it'll take a very very very long time not only that but the conditions that the human race would have to adapt as well while living on mars. :cat:

But I was saying the Mars adventure they are planning you are not going to be able to take all the stuff to make it like Earth now.  It may be possible to colonize Mars but it would take a really really long time and when you start out you start with nothing.  I cannot imagine how to make Mars like Earth.

It is going to take 3 years just to get there.  I see them running out of fuel and dying in transit.  There is really no way to communicate.  How can we send resupply stuff when we don't know what they need and it takes so long to get it there.  Besides that if you sign up for the suicide mission it is just that.  I cannot believe any one would willingly do it.

After hearing the effects to the human body after long term time spent in space I'm staying here for the time being. If Earth's gravity and other luxuries can be duplicated, space travel doesn't seem that attractive. Of course, I am very curious about other worlds too.

I'm not that much of an Extraterrestrial, I've no problem jumping from a plane but space life is just not for me.

I'd live in space to see what it was like.  Would definitely be something different than I'm used to I's be up for the adventure.

I'm definitely not an adventurer I guess because I have no desire to leave the planet Earth. I see nothing in space that would make me want to go there.
