I don't have a landline and don't personally understand why people still do. Some say it is in case of emergencies. You could get an extra cell phone to keep at the house for cheaper than a landline. But to each their own.

Yes we still have a landline telephone. I was going to get rid of it but I don't give my cell phone number out to everyone.

We have both a landline and our cell phones. But our landline hardly ever rings lol.

I turned my land line off a long time ago. Probably 4 years. The last 6 or so months I had it I kept it switched to my cell phone. The only calls to it were from a telemarketer. With a cell I can keep my phone with me all the time and I could not afford to keep both.

We moved and ditched the landline and am now only using a cell phone... my hubby uses it more until he gets one from his new employer on Monday...
