Just curious.  Did anybody else think Frozen was kind of sad?  I think it was mean to lock Elsa away and her sister doesn't even know why she can't see her.  :(

No, I didn't know that. I haven't seen it but was wondering about taking my two boys to see it (they are 7 and 10). However I've heard mixed reviews on it. Some people say it is more for girls (in which case my boys will not be interested) and some people say the star of the movie is Olaf and that it is really funny. However if it is say, then I myself might not want to see it anyway. Perhaps I'll wait till it shows on Netflix for free. My favorite animated movie of all time is Despicable Me. That is without a doubt a happy, cute movie for all the family.

I personally would think it was more for girls.  Olaf is in the whole movie and it is really good.  Don't not see it because of what I said.  It is not a sad movie.  Or not meant to be sad.  It's sad like Toy Story 3 was.  It was not meant to be sad but when you think about it you are like ... gee that was really kind of sad. lol.  I love Despicable Me one and two.

Well, basically they were ashamed of her because she was cursed with the power. So she interpreted that you will never learn to control your powers because they basically made her fear other people including her own sibling.

I saw it last month. I thought it was pretty good. Not your typical princess story.

The movie is awesome.  It is not just geared to girls or boys.  I have 5 grandkids from  2 to 13, they all loved it!  It is a typical Disney movie in that it is made so everyone will be interested.  The girl probably would not have stayed locked up but the parents died, so that was their last command.   The movie, the music it is all great.....otherwise it would not have been the biggest animation movie ever.   EVER.

I haven't seen the movie but heard Disney broke their movie cliches in Frozen (Intentionally? I don't know). This would be one of them.

It was sad because Anna doesn't even know why Elsa shut her out,If they just told her none of it would happen but then the maker is very creative really cute movie for girls.
