What is a food you haven't had for a long time?

I haven't had fried whole belly clams in a long time. I love them but they don't always love me and of course they are loaded with calories and fat because they are fried.

I haven't had shrimp in a long time.  I think it has been a year or more since I had an order of shrimp.  I love them!  I am determined to get myself an order whenever I get to CaptainD's.

One of my favorite foods is Pasta House Salad.  I love the house salad and I don't have a Pasta House close to me.

Banana bread! Or soup, even though I love soup it's not something I crave as the weather gets warmer.

I enjoy the smell of a steak sizzling. It has been some time since I had Beef Wellington.

Veal Stew - because here in Arizona, you're lucky if they even know what Veal is.

Rice *bleep* - I'll have to get around to making those soon, LOL.

Frozen Custard - Again, NY had the best.

My Father's Antipasto - Mmm Mmmm Good.

Boston Scrod - Ain't gettin' that here in AZ.

Cuccio's Italian Bread - Sorry, only in Brooklyn.

French and Italian Pastries - Try to find THAT here in AZ.

A fresh Knish! - I enjoyed these tremendously on Manhattan Beach in Brooklyn.  Although Chompie's has got a pretty good Knish - I still haven't had one in a while.

"Grass Fed" Meat - Wherefore art thou?

"Everything But the Kitchen Sink" - A HUGE bowl of ice cream with everything you can imagine for toppings, etc.  It was the sort you had to share with at least 6 people because no one human being could consume it alone.  Again, a Brooklyn delicacy only found at "Jahn's Ice Cream Parlor," which, sadly, no longer exists.

I haven't had pickled sausages in a long time. i really want some but they dont sell them where im from. has anyone every had any? they are amazing.!

I have not had steak or beef hamburgers for years.  I stopped eating red meat several years ago.  I'm not really sure if it has helped my health, but I guess I've been off it so long that when I tried a taste of hamburger a couple of years ago, it make me sick.

I have not had lobster in ages and ages... I wonder if the lobster is full of radiation these days. I would love to taste lobster again some day.
