very sad day for me

today 2 years ago my mom passed away and i miss her so much we were very close and i didn't make it up to nc the day she died she had a stroke at 755 am and passed away at 830 am i  hope she new how much i love her i regret not being able to see her that often but i will always remember the time we had together i just know in my heart she is in a better place but it doesn't make it easier on me so here's to my mom i love you and miss you so very much your always in my thoughts and my prayers

Its definitely hard when you lose a parent  I have lost both of mine and I miss them dearly but I hold all my memories in my heart

My heart goes out to you.  I lost my mom in 2007 and my dad is 2008 and not a day goes by that I don't miss them more than I can bear some times.  It has gotten a little easier most days and I hope that gives you some encouragement.  I'm sure your mom knew what she meant to you and you will be with her again one day in Heaven.

i lost my dad 11 years ago then my brother in 2006and there is just a couple of family members left

I'm sorry to hear this. I'm sure that she knows how much you love her and I'm sure she doesn't want you to feel sad and remember her. I remember when my brother was dying. He wanted us to remember the good times and celebrate his life. Yea, it's hard sometimes, but we have to remember the good and fun times. And I'm sure that your mom is in heaven looking down on you with a big smile.

Loosing our parents leaves a huge heartache , but they do live on in our memories and by keeping the images alive through our children, tell the often about who their grandparents were. Hugs to you.

I am sorry for your loss.  I lost my mother at age 55 (she died 5 weeks after she turned 55) and she has been gone 18 years now.  My grandmother passed at age 83 (she died 47 days to her 84th birthday) and has been gone nearly 25 years.  They are not here physically, but they live on in you.  My mother was a phenomenal cook.  I miss her cooking now.  I think of my grandmother often, and I know if she was still here, I would have to not suffer for anything.

Arguably the hardest part of being on this earth is having to endure the loss of a loved one and learn to live without them. The one solid solace you can find is in knowing they are totally happy and at peace where they are now and you will be reunited eventually. Time will make it easier. I'm sorry to all of you who have lost so many loved ones. The first memory I have of my dad crying in front of me is when my grandfather died back in 2002.

My heart goes out to you.  I am so blessed to still have my mother (and her mother who is 91 years old) with me.  We came so close to losing my mother last year when she became ill.  Most of her problems at that time was the inept doctors the hospital had on staff.  We got her out of that hospital in the nick of time!

I am so sorry for your loss.  It's extremely hard to lose someone you love.  I lost both my parents.  You never forget, but as time goes by it doesn't hurt as much.  Take each day, and know your mom knew how much you loved her and know she loved you.
