Survey anger
« on: April 26, 2014, 06:23:50 pm »
I just spent 10 minutes on an 18 minute survey when, suddenly, I did not qualify for the survey.  I hate when that happens.  Just venting.

That's happened to me too, I hate that!  I just did a survey, was at 97%, answered the questions on that page but there was no arrow to take me to the next page.  We tried everything to locate it, but could not find it, so I just went out of it, and spent all that time for nothing!  Grrrrrrrr

I hate it when that happens! I've almost completely stopped doing surveys for this reason. There was one survey (not on FC) after 30-45min. it said I finished and redirected me to the site to claim my 385 points. The site said 'we're sorry you didn't qualify, here's 1 point for trying'. I didn't even get 1 point. Grrrr.

I've had that happen a lot. I've gotten to the end and then had it just shut down and not give me credit. Some of the survey companies are not fair.

I have not tried any surveys for awhile, it is better on my blood pressure if I stay away from them.

Not qualifying for surveys happened to me a lot. This is why I mostly avoid them, but I do attempt one from time to time.

No what is WRONG is when you spend 45 minutes doing a survey and then get credited and a couple of weeks later get an email saying credit has been revoked.  That happened to me about 10 times and I finally just said "screw it" and I do not fool with the surveys any longer.  I am not going to waste my time and give them my opinion and then they just do not pay me because I do not answer the surveys the way they want me to.   There is no way they can look at my answers and then say oh well you were not truthful or consistent.  SO basically, I just do not do the surveys any more.  Not worth my time.

Yes, I am a little angry.

I too just got so frustrated with surveys that I hardly ever do them anymore. One thing that helps ease my frustration is that when I was doing them more often, I'd bring my laptop into the TV room and do the surveys during the commercials. That way if I got dropped from not qualifying, it doesn't feel like such a waste of time since I wasn't doing anything productive during those ad breaks anyways. I also learned which sites gave some type of credit, even if I didn't qualify for the survey. Also, some sites do a better job of pre-screening before giving the survey to me so that I was more apt to qualify and receive full credit for the survey.

I like tasks and other offers better. They may not technically pay as much but at least you can be sure you'll get your credit and it takes less time so really I think it's worth it.

sometimes there are good days, and sometimes not so - but persistence is key - and when you hit the good days, makes ya feel better - so... take the good with the bad and keep moving towards those cashouts!  Happy Earnings Everyone!   :D
