Printed Coupons....

Is anyone out there having trouble with stores accepting the coupons that are printed from the internet?   I am getting frustrated with stores telling me they are not accepting these types of coupons any longer.

At first when they came out, the cashier didn't know what they were and she called the manager, it was accepted  It was  moment for me.  But now, geez, ink prices is very high, i am all for re-loadable plastic cards for this too.

Occasionally I've had a hiccup, but they've always gone through. 

I like the idea of a reloadable card idea.  Not store specific - universal, works in any store.  I'd get one, if there were no fees.

I have never prating of the coupons online. Except for Safeway's who had let you rent them and put them on your Safeway cards and use them then.

A few times they were a hassle; but most of the time what I print out is accepted and it is sure worth it - $7- $10 saved is a big deal to me.

I tried them several years ago and most stores would not accept them.  Since then I haven't bothered printing any out.  I print using black ink only.  Figure if I used color, the coupons might look more acceptable, but can't see spending the ink on a coupon on the off-chance that I might use it.

Over the years, I have shifted from brand name products to generic/store brands.  Cheaper and just as good in most instances.  (I have a few favorite brand items, but rarely see coupons for them.)

yes.  my favorite store been going to since I was a kid won't take them.  well, there's that good ole stand by Walmart will take them but I don't shop there much

Yes I have had a few occasions when supermarkets would not accept coupons but it appeared that the hand held scanner was not able to read the bar code. They use to be willing to manually enter the bar code number (which is underneath the barcode) but now they say if it won't scan, they won't accept it. This is usually the case with coupons printed off the internet.
