Does Anyone suffer from osteoarthritis in the knee? If so what over the counter  medications
Do you take ? Also, has anyone had knee surgery to correct the problem?

My girlfriends sister has osteoarthritis through out her whole body and she is always in pain even with all the pain medications that the doctors give her.  You can try the vitamins for bone health I forget what it is called but Wal-Mart carries it.  Now the surgery thing all I can say it has worked on some people and not on others so its a 50/50 chance.

I suffer with this every day and haven't really found anything that helps.  I took Gluosomine for a long time and after a while it did not help.  The doctor prescribed anti-inflammatory drugs for a while and they helped some, but had to stop taking them because of other problems.  Now I just try to deal with it the best I can because I don't want to have surgery.

Never had it... But I did take a test about it, doing a Swagbucks offer.... They say exercise is important, and losing 1 pound can take off the 4 pounds you feel in the area that is affected
