I like to keep high protein and high fiber, good for you, snacks on hand.  That with a tall glass of water, a pair of walking shoes and a brisk walk ( if you can do that ) may help.

Too many simple carbs in a diet create the seemingly endless cravings that so many are a victim of.  If you try to make each meal you consume about 70% protein that may very well help you to stabilize your cravings.

Hope this helps.  Keep us posted.     :)

Instead of eating things with sugar in them, I suck on hard sugarless candies. That does the trick. Lifesavers makes a good peppermint and wintergreen sugarless candy but you can also usually find some store brand starlight mints without sugar in them as well as other varieties like lemon drops, etc. Whenever I am on a diet I suck on those instead of eating baked goods for dessert.

Apple Cider Vinegar's been helping me curb a lot of these cravings, lately.

If you are craving sugar, I recommend the apple cider vinegar as a solution.  I have a sweet tooth too, but I like to get little candy bars and keep them on hand.  My hubby buys peppermint to suck on.  He also buys fun size candy bars.  It is a great way of having sugar without eating a whole lot.   :rainbow:

You can try filling up on other high carb foods and then having a little piece of chocolate to satisfy the craving a little, especially the low fat, high fiber protein bars. Try some with the chocolate chips in them.  Good Luck  ;D

I find taking a shower, or a long bath; and getting my mind off of it helps more than anything.

I always get sugar cravings. But after eating enough sugar I don't want any more. I rather have natural sugars from fruits tho.

I have the same problem and haven't found a great solution yet. They say the longer you stay away from sugar the less your craving will be but i haven't found that to be the case so far.

Before I did my research I would look at your post and wonder how protein, water, and fiber could help with sugar cravings but I've read that sweet cravings are actually a result of insufficient nutrition so it makes sense.

Remember Nike's Just Do It campaign.  Once you Omit sugar's to a healthy intake for your body you're body will know how much it needs.  I typically keep mine around 25 g per day.  Many yogurts alone have up to 19g so there isn't much room for any added extra sugar.  Watch the fiber and health bars... they are loaded with sugar and you wouldn't even think about it unless reading labels.  Oranges, apples, , pears, peaches, bananas, berries of all sorts even an oz of dark chocolate should provide the sugars needed when portioned correctly

Two way you can stop from addiction:
1. stop at all
2. eat all in one day, do not eat anything else, you will feel sick and might be your body too, then you will get bored and feel sorry. you will stop  after that.
