How do you celebrate Easter?

Easter is coming and will be right around the corner. How do you celebrate your Easter holiday?

I don't really celebrate Easter anymore.  When I had small grandchildren we always colored eggs and then they were hidden for the kids to find.  When my kids were little we always attended Easter sunrise services and after the Easter egg hunt we had a holiday ham dinner.

I don' t celebrate it too much but one time we did a colored egg hunt

Back in the day after church we all went to Mammaw and Pappaw's and had dinner.  I don't remember hunting eggs when I was a kid but I am guessing we did. lol.  I remember hiding them for the kids of today.  A couple of years ago me and my uncle hid them.  We knew how many we hid and we watched the kids find them.  But we never found all of them.  lol

I go to church on Easter morning.  I sing in the choir and we usually have a musical program.  The rest of the day is pretty quite because I live by myself and don't have small children.

I have never been to a sun rise service.  Actually until recently I don't even remember hearing about those where I live.  Just reg Easter Sunday services.  I always went to church all the time growing up.  So we were always at church on Easter Sunday.

I usually celebrate with family; parents, sister, brother and nieces along with my husband and sons. This year I will be singing in church and then go to my parents which my sister will not be there as she will be going to Florida to celebrate with her in-laws. I will miss her this Easter!
