The Rule of What Computer You Can Use
« on: March 31, 2014, 10:47:37 pm »
I personally think that Fusion Cash should lift the rule stating that you have to have your own IP address to participate.  There is other ways to prevent people from having more than one account.  I personally think that each individual should be able to have an account in the household as long as its not two many.  For instance I have an account but my girlfriend can't because of the IP Address rule.  We are two different people she has her money I have mine she should be able to have an account too.  How about married couples they both should be able to participate.  Or they could put a limit of how many people use an IP Address.  My reason for this is that my internet doesn't always work especially with bad weather I should be able to use a public library to do my thing on Fusion Cash.  How many of you agree with me.  I participate in another program and they allow each individual have there own account even if they have the same IP Address.  Actually there are a lot of sights that allow it, and I think maybe Fusion Cash could really thing about it.  It not good to penalize others who live in the same house or dorm that has wireless in their home.

I think it would be nice not to only be able to use fushioncash at one place but all these programs set things up how they feel it is best.

It's their playground so I am comfortable with them making the rules, I just follow them.

I disagree.  Limiting membership to one person per household, isp is common among PTC and GPT sites for good reason.  While you mentioned one situation where it would be reasonable to allow another person/account on the same ISP, opening it up would undoubted result in many fake accounts being set up -- with cheaters skimming off the easy credits on all their fake accounts.

There is also the problem of meeting the advertisers and offer makers requirements -- who also want unique persons per ISP.  Radio Loyalty, for example, will not allow the same person to listen to their music/ads on multiple sites (much less multiple persons on the same ISP).

I'm in a similar situation.  I live with my boyfriend but we have separate finances, individually owned properties, different family make-up and different backgrounds.  But even though we would each bring a different set of experiences and opinions, I can definitely understand why it's not allowed.  There's enough overlap in our lives that it could potentially skew the results of any surveys we both took.  There's also the fact that most surveys would probably DQ whichever one of us took the survey 2nd because they'd think it was the same person taking it.  And as others have mentioned, there's the high probability of people opening multiple account just to collect all the easy earnings, which doesn't do much to help the advertisers.  All in all, it's like OldBuddy said, "It's their playground and they get to make the rules".  I have no problem living with it, guess my boyfriend is just going to have to find his own hobby, lol.

It's their site, so I feel they make the rules that best works for them, I have no problems with the rules, just follow them.

I don't really have a problem following the rules but it would be nice to be able to use another IP while on vacation.  I usually go to my brothers' house for a week in the fall and it would be nice to be able to keep up with FC that week.

I also agree with and understand why they have that rule... true, there are a few cases where exceptions could be made, but in most cases it would just allow people to have multiple accounts and make money on all of them.. it would skew surveys, etc but more importantly it would flood the site with users and more than likely reduce the value of surveys, tasks, etc or reduce the number of them offered. so while 2 separate people could make their own income, it could be reduced

I don't think Fusion Cash has too much control.  Most advertisers only get and give credit once per ip per day.   Some only once per ip address period.    So if you visit a page with advertising on it, the page only gets credit for one ip address clicking on it.  If the advertisers don't pay for multiple clicks from one ip, FC can't give credit for it either.

I wonder how it works from a college dorm, those students must have the same ip I would think.

Not everyone likes this rule but this is beyond our control. If you absolutely need to access your FC account at other places other than your home, I suggest you use team viewer so you can remotely access your home's desktop screen and access Fusion Cash from there that way FC will see that you are accessing your account from home. That's what I recommend.

It would be much too easy to mooch off the referral program if multiple accounts were allowed per household. I think the rule is a good one (and it probably makes monitoring the accounts much easier for FC staff)

Also, in your post you say
I personally think that each individual should be able to have an account in the household as long as its not two many.

Who would decide what is "two many"? It's better to have a set rule with no exceptions.

I wasn't aware this wasn't allowed (oops, guess I need to go back and read the TOS again).  I spend about a week out of each month visiting my aging father who lives in another state.  I always complete my FC activities while I'm there, the same as I do at home.  I've never had any problems accessing any of the features of the site and I always receive credit.  I was under the impression that this was okay (as long as my father isn't a member of FC, of course).  I definitely don't want to break any rules so I guess I won't be doing that anymore.  :-(

There is a way to do this legitimately and fairly, just leave your home computer running with Team Viewer and use another computer with Team Viewer to access it and run Fusioncash just like you were at home.
