It's really easier than you think. Just get online and get the recipe for Pita Bread and Cucumber Sauce and the rest is easy. We had a Lamb Roast the other night and decided to try it with the leftovers and WOW, it was better than the ones we have bought.

Mmmmm, that sounds good.  I make lamb at Easter and always have leftovers, so I think I'll try using them up that way.  Thanks!

I never tried making a gyro. Would be a great thing to try though.

Guro's aren't one of my favorites so I have no idea how to make them!

Most people don't think they can do anything until they do it. It's no harder than making a burrito.

If you wanted to do other meats as well for the gyro besides for lamb you could. We have done steak and  chicken before.

I've never eaten a gyro and don't really know how it taste but from the look of it the closest I've been to making one is a sandwich I make with Mediterranean flat bread.

The difference is the cucumber sauce.
