No  :crybaby2:  I recently found out I cant convieve. My husband and I are ok with that because we would love to adopt.. But no leads there either and it is breaking our hearts!!  So expensive to adopt and so hard...we desperately want a baby  :binkybaby: but have just about given up.  :sad1: :( :'( :crybaby2: :dontknow:

i'm so sorry to hear that!  there are a lot of things in life that don't make sense.  this among them!

i hope you might be willing to consider and look into the procedures of your local social services foster to adopt programs, there are so many kids who have been abused and neglected who could use some parents who really long for children to love, and although the foster care focuses on getting the kids back to their parents, in so many sad cases the children wind up needing an adoptive family- though this route does require patience, i'm not sure how your county handles it, but where i am the agency covers the adoption costs.  it may be worth asking questions and seeking information.

I'm also Pregnant. I'm 13 weeks along and recently got my second ultrasound done and heard the heartbeat. I'm due January 22nd. I'm being extra careful because I've had 4 miscarriages In the past. So far the only problem I have had Is my left foot swelling up like a balloon and my right staying normal. I also crave Tacos constantly. My boyfriend Is mixed and I sometimes wonder If he's part mexican lol. This baby was a surprise. We were not trying but I knew I was pregnant before even taking a test or getting a blood test done.

I am currently 9 months pregnant with an estimated due date of the 18th of this month (july)5 more days or she will be late. I am sorry to hear about all the miscarriages and the people who can not have kids that is extremely sad. This one is a little girl after I had 2 boys one 5 and one 2.

yay for you 5 days (give or take a few) to go! let us know how things go for you!

oh just a thought for anyone who has miscarriage trouble, they found out my thyroid levels were "off" and said this can be a factor in miscarriage, they did not know with the last two pregnancy losses, and now with this pregnancy they were able to get me on medication to regulate the thyroid, so far so good, i think it makes a big difference in how i feel also.

but just keep positive, we're all thrown things in life that we wouldn't ask for but if it wasn't one thing it would be another, i hope we can encourage each other through good and/or bad, because even though we're masked by a computer screen we're all human and we all need each other to lift us up and just be able to say "hey i've been there, and it stinks, but you can make it"....

good luck to everyone!

this is not respectful
God told me to be fruitful and multiply.....take it up with Him, but don't disrespect us, if you don't like the topic, go visit another one, no one makes anyone read or post in topics that are not of interest to them
read the rules and respect others rights to have discussions that are actually interesting and encouraging to those of us having the conversation
you have no thought to the way your statement could be extremely hurtful considering the fact that many of the people involved in this discussion board have mentioned many losses, and mentioned the fact that they cannot have kids, or are only even mentioning being pregnant with their first child.  your statement is very hurtful in this board

we have a bunch of name ideas, but we will have to see the little one and see what name seems to click for him or her :)

if you have it in your heart, you should consider foster care, so many children need love and care, and often times adoption comes through this- when you go through the social services of your county, they assist with all the procedures and costs :)

i've thought about that too! i think i would like to do that.
i have no idea how the foster care system works, but can you only
keep kids for a certain amount of time or something? and can you
choose how many you're willing to take at a time and such?

i'd be so afraid i'd get attached and then they'd have to leave  :sad1:
i don't know - i've always had the image of foster care in my head
as a temporary or rotating thing. i should look this up!
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

What world are you living in?  and where is the world has all of this overpopulation garbage come from.  Keep comments like this out of posts like this.  This girl is trying to be happy about her new bundle of joy. (Congrats by the way). and idiots like you have to come up with stupid things to say.

well congrats my first baby is turning 8 months old and  he is so healthy and me and my husband tried for 2 1/2 years and  during my pregnancy i had placenta privia and i was told i would have to have a c section and be kept close so they could make sure the baby was growing  right it kinda freaked me out but at 6 months into my pregnancy they placenta moved up. so i decide not to take any drugs and i was able to have a normal delivery he weighed 7 lbs 8 oz 19 1/2 in. so good luck  :)
