We subscribe to cable that keeps going up in price!  Just received notice that it is going up $5.00 more in May.  Between cable and internet, our bill will be $103/month!  And we don't have digital or high speed service!!
Have a wonderful day!

I currently have analog cable through Charter, but we got notice that early April they'll be converting to all digital, so I'm seriously considering dropping my cable.  I do a lot of TV recording, and the majority of it is on standard over-the-air networks.   I'm only really watching a handful of cable channels.

I picked up an indoor HD antenna and found I can get all the OTA networks with great reception.  I also have a netflix subscription so I could catch up on the few cable shows I watch when they get released there.

I also bought a Raspberry Pi kit and configured it to be a media streams and found tons of open source options to watch streamed channels, as well as movies and TV shows - so anything I can't get via the others I'm sure to find there.

We have Direct TV. We're pretty happy with it. Comcast got too expensive for us and we had some problems with Dish. They wouldn't take the money out when they were supposed to and then would cut us off.

I have Dish TV. I can't get cable where I live so I'm stuck with satellite.

I just switched from Comcast to Verizon. I'm enjoying it but I'm enjoying cable/internet for under $100 for the next 2 years.

We use a local cable service with the basic channel selection; it is part of the internet, phone, tv package.
