the blind person

I know a blind man (he is totally blind)who is writing a book. There is a special place in the city to help the blind deal with and overcome their limitations. There are a number of gadgets and equipment to assist the blind person in daily tasks. The facility taught this man how to use the computer. Now that he lives here, he is helping other residents, who are less blind than he is.  (and he is supposedly in a "worse" situation than they are.)

That's excellent.  I have read about new technologies to help with disabilities.  Who says you can't write a book if your blind?

I get upset when I hear people say they are legally blind yet they drive a car and can actually see.  Usually it is people who are wanting disability or people to give them something for nothing.

Then you have a man that is totally blind and sees blackness and nothing more and he is helping people who can see.  Smh.
