My favorite is a homemade velvetta cheese soup I learned to make from my grandmother, it consists of velvetta cheese, chicken broth, can of tomatoes and green chilis, and large elbow macaroni.  Simple but delicious!!

I love all soups (that are vegetarian). A butternut squash soup is really good though.
