I agree with the above comment.^ To give you good suggestions it depends on what you like to listen to. But to just spout some off you could check out, Ty Segall is fun (think garage rock meets upbeat '60s music), and Jessica Pratt (soothing folk). I could do a huge laundry list but those two I can't imagine someone not enjoying.

I love Rodrigo y Gabriela. They are Mexican guitar players and their music is awesome! You can listen to samples of them for free online.

I like Tori Amos and Anneke Van Giersbergen. Check them out on Youtube. I am going to see Tori Live 11 times this
summer. I can't wait!!! I saw Anneke do two shows last year in Chicago and they were the best shows I have ever seen.
I heard she might be playing the states this summer.
