New Computer, New Operating System, No Tasks
« on: March 07, 2014, 06:14:15 am »
Good morning Fusion Cash members.  My husband and I recently got a new laptop computer.  We both love it.  It's a MacBook Air.  The operating system is Safari.  I'm able to do just about everything on it that I did on my previous computer with one exception.  I can not complete tasks on this or any other site.  Is it because of my Safari Operating System?  I used to use Mozilla and had no problem logging into the tasks.  With that being said, I really don't want to just jump into another Operating System if it may cause things to jam up on my computer.  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

You can download Firefox, Internet Explorer and/or Google Chrome on Apple products if you want to use another browser

Your operating system would be OS X. Safari would be the browser

I have a MacBook. I have found that if I use safari to take offers or do other things on Fusion Cash, I do not always get credit. I believe that it is because most offers are written for windows and there is a glitch of some kind when using safari. Maybe that might explain why you are having problems with tasks when using safari.

I use safari for my daily email and paid to click but then I switch to chrome or firefox for anything else that i do on Fusion Cash. I downloaded these browsers way back and have had no problems with them being on my computer.

If there is an Apple Store close by, you could go to the genius bar or if you have AppleCare, you could call and ask them about the problem.

Congratulations on your new Mac. I love my MacBook. It is going on 7 years old and it is not quite what it used to be but still working so well that i can not justify buying a new computer. I have just bought a new iPhone.

 :)

Thanks for your response.  After I posted yesterday I realized that I meant to say that my operating system is Mac and my browser is Safari.  DUH.  Anyway, thank you again, I will consider downloading Firefox since I've enjoyed success with it in the past.

Well thank you for your in-depth response.  I, too, love the Mac.  My husband and I have been looking into them for a while now and we're both very happy with it.  I appreciate you sharing  your experiences.  We may consider downloading firefox sometime in the future.  Our computer expert mentioned to me that it would be no problem at all to download it and use it along with Safari.  So sometime soon we may just have to shake things up.   ;)
