What makes a person special?

Every person is unique, but what makes someone special is the light in their eyes from being loved by someone.

To me someone is special based on their personality and who they truly seem to be - someone who cares about others, someone with a good sense of humor - someone who is kind.

I think special people are usually honest, trustworthy, caring of other people and kind to other people. People who think only about themselves and how everything impacts them personally are not very special; they are common. The special ones are truly to be appreciated when you are lucky enough to come in contact with them.

I have been very fortunate in my life having a wife whos middle name could be "loyalty"

I say that not only because of her loyalty to me,but just in everything.Her mom,brother,sister,son,friends,job,and of course our dog Penny!!

If you have a spouse,family member or a friend that is loyal....consider yourself quite fortunate.

It could vary depending on their smile, their small actions, or stuff like that that.

The most special person to me would be someone who wants to listen to my troubles endlessly, even if they've heard me carry on about them many times before. Someone who puts mine or others happiness above their own. Someone who is slow to judge and quick to help. Someone who always listens to advice and never thinks they know it all. I do know someone like this. It's my sister.

Being genuine and going out of your way for others. Some people are considered "Earth Angels", they feel the need to rescue people that they care for but I have to stop because I always get burnt when I try and rescue some one. They need to fall on their on.

I think what makes a person "special" is the way they treat others.  When you are kind to someone else, that kindness makes you feel good and it gets returned to you two-fold.

A frequent, sincere smile that shines in the eyes as well as being evident on the mouth makes a person special.  It is surprisingly rare.

I think we all are special...but the way we get along with someone and how they make you feel when you around them or just thinking about them makes them even more special......
