How do you deal with change?
« on: March 02, 2014, 09:21:30 am »
How do you deal with change? Such as changing jobs, careers, school? Taking off of school? Or other big life changes?

The best I can - if the change requires action on my part then I pray about it and try to take whatever is the best plan of action that I can figure out.  If it is something that I just have to cope with and can't do anything about (like my hubby of 34 years passing away) I just do the best I can to cope and move forward.  :rose:

I'm okay with change as long as I can take time to prepare for that change.  When I decided to divorce I took time to make sure mine and my husband's finances were separate so we wouldn't fight about money.

If I move I take time to sell things and box everything up so I can be organized.  I need to feel that I'm in control of the situation and then....

making changes is exciting and emotionally uplifting for me.
Have a great day!

Small changes in plans throughout the day make me nervous, which is super annoying, but big changes are nice, mainly since they are planned out.

It depends what the change is. I'm able to deal with changes, and when there are changes that I don't have control over, I just do the best I can.

I embrace change. Change is always scary at first but after a little while it usually turns out to be for the best.
I hate living in the past and I hate people who are always trying to do so. :bad:

Life is change - everything is constantly in motion somewhere.  I just accept and adapt as needed.  Some changes don't impact me, others have bigger impacts.  Experience will help you better prepare and adapt for future changes.

I don't deal well at all with change. About the only changes I don't mind are job changes, because I get bored with jobs easily. But I haven't found that changes are ever for the better, in my experience, and I don't handle it well.

thats lifes biggest question, sometimes there is no real answer, you just have to take it belly up, some people even committed suicide in certain situations
