Now even the videos are discriminatory!

I dislike being DQ'd from videos as well, good thing it doesn't happen often.  The video's are the same as the surveys and tasks though...the advertiser is looking for specific types of people for marketing reasons, you, and myself are not what they are looking for.

I had one last week that I wasn't allowed to watch because I'm not a guy.  Really???  Ugh.

I have been discriminated in the past by being a male when they where looking for females.  As a male I am happy that I was accepted.  Why they would be looking for male viewers for a cooking show, I have no idea but I was happy to watch and collect the 2 cents.  I do believe that the advertisers do have a right to advertise to whatever audience that they choose to.  But, I also understand the disappointments.  Hopefully, one way or another it all works out.  I often also wonder whether such targeted advertising is really more beneficial than one that is made available to all.

LOL this is so funny!  The one where I was told I couldn't do it because I was female, I went back in and told it I was  male and got credited.  It was just a video, so who cares?  I don't fib on surveys, that's for sure!

advertisers want their target market.
I so used to not being the target that I just move on,
patience is the name of the game here
there are so many options here I hope you all find what you need.

I've had a couple of those within the past couple of weeks but, if you think about it, surveys are the same way.

Alright, I love video games, so when I saw they had a video for the game Evolve, I clicked it. Of course it was only open to males, but the qualifying question should have been, DO YOU PLAY VIDEO GAMES? , Yay, Ok! Nay, You're not seeing the video! 

So I think that one small tweak would make a difference.

It is sad that they are probably not thinking it thru really.  Just the thought of How many things for men women buy as gifts,  to block is silly. 

I can see with surveys, it is not always discriminating (I am sure some have a target auidence)  they want to get a sample across the population,  I am sure certain demographics fill up quicker than others

they don't always credit. I did 3 2 cent videos and have not seen them credit yet.

It seems pretty wrong, but remember this is marketing and they want a certain demographic to watch it.
