I totally agree. I was stuck in the middle of going-no-where-jobs and having no light at the end of the tunnel. I didn't know how I was going to cover my children's aspiring young futures from a financial perspective. I was shutting the world out because I was angry at having spent money on an education that had taken me nowhere. My businesses, all three based on financial markets, crumbled during the 2005 mortgage crisis...as did my ego and self-esteem. True friends of ours invited us to a charity benefit for handicapped actors. We were sat at a big table where everyone made charitable contributions. We were almost destitute but moved by the performance and mad a contribution nearly beyond our means.  The next days company called me, hired me and I have been fully employed by various companies within that same field for four years.

This is a very true statement and I truly believe that all things happen for a reason! If it changes things completely then lets hope it's for the good.
