we went out to eat last night and my purse was stolen  it pisses me off that someone could do that especially at a nice restaurant and it is such a pain had to cancel all my credit cards drivers license social security card and lucky i did not have alot of cash in it

That is bad.  I keep mine in my lap or between my feet if I go out and eat.  And yes, I have.  I had a boyfriend who stole my check book.  I got it back but still.  Thing is he made at least twice what I did at the time and he had the nerve to steal my check book with every intention of taking my money that was in the bank.  Grrr.

Yes. I had my car stolen. It was brand new and I only had it a few months. Turns out it was someone who watched my car for weeks and "just wanted to see how fast it was," just took it for a joy ride and then parked it at a very popular swimming pond, but I was also in the middle of moving and the guy stole all my jewelry and my clothes. 

This was back in '72 and it was a '72 Javelin. Couldn't prosecute because back then, if the car was in one piece and not harmed, the police didn't do anything about it. I was supposed to be happy that I got it back. Yeah, but my engagement ring was in that jewelry box. Didn't matter.

Had all of my jewelry stolen from an apartment we lived in.  They got in with a Master Key and it was happening all over the complex, so it was one of the employees.  Never did find out who it was or I would have rung their necks.  Had an entire dashboard ripped out of my car just for the stereo system - man, was that a mess!  Also had another car stolen, but to me, that was no great loss - I hated the thing, LOL.

I had people over when cds were still very popular and someone stole a lot of my favorite albums.

Yes, I have, and the sad thing is what was stolen was over my mom and dad's house. I was newly married and had left a piggy bank that had over $40 in change in it. Most of the money was in wrappers, so it was kind of heavy. When I finally went to retrieve it, the bank was there with maybe a few pennies in it.  All the other money had been taken out. My parents were shocked and had no idea what had happened. They were going to give me a roll of quarters to take with me, but they were missing also. Needless to say, I was frustrated and they were perplexed as to who would do this. Things that make you go hmmm!

Yes I have money stolen from me, and the person was family.  I would have given them the money if they would have asked for it.

That's aweful...you just can't trust anyone anywhere...I had stuff stolen out of my vehicle before just leaves you feeling so violated

Yes I have, I've had money stolen from me, my car broken into and had someone steal everything metal from my yard and garage..to sell for scrap I'm guessing... it does make you feel violated...and it is sad that this is what the world and people are amounting to.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I've had Halloween decorations stolen and money stolen from my backpack. Someone has even stolen my lunch before. It really keeps you on your toes.

About 12 years ago I had my purchase stolen from my car at a party but I feel to blame for being the one that left my windows cracked so that some one was able to get in. Lesson learned though.

yes..many times. Had my wallet stolen several times; car broken into at last 4x times (broken copier; front seats stolen). Can't trust anyone.
