I was watching the news....they reported that 300 bodies were dug up and their plot were resold!!!! I cant believe someone would actually do this?? This been going on for many years!!! Whats wrong with people??

well land is very valuable

in new orleans they have the cemetaries but they also have catacombs, likein the old times
they stack up the bodies in buildings each in there own space... like at a morgue, and when the bodies decay they knock out the bones, burn them and put someone else in your place

they do this in new orleans because when they bury people, its likely to flood, then you have dead bdies that have risen to the top of the water...

i went after katrina, jsut days after and there were bodies and caskets everywhere

that is highly interesting, i never in a million years would have realized that.

my grandma (who is still living), has donated her body to science, so when she dies they can use her body for research, then eventually when they're done with it, i guess she'll just be cremated.

i haven't signed up for that, but if you're going to be cremated anyway, hey, maybe someone else can get some use out of your body first....

once i'm dead i won't need my body anymore....i know where my soul will be

They're....dead.  So much wasted land on cemeteries anyway, cremation should be much more customary than it is.  People should get their money back of course, for paying for the plot, but there are, needless to say, much worse things going on besides people digging up dead things.

No compassion here, huh?  Dead things?  These are other peoples family members, not things. 

Is nothing sacred anymore.  We as so called humans are definitely not the superior beings on this Earth.  God must be questioning the idea of humans being superior for the last million years because of criminal actions and horrors committed.

they do that in Palestine ..they put them in chambers b/c there is no more room for graves & Israel just keeps taking land from them. oh & did i forget to mention they keep KILLING & KILLING people. Can't wait 'till the day of judgment in which they regret everything they've done & begin to ask for forgiveness but its ....TOO LaTE...the atrocities have already taken place

That is just terrible.  I have heard of people who own mortuaries doing something similar.  They sell a casket to a family and then don't bury the person in it, they re-sell it to someone else and just pocket the money.  This happened in Florida and when the police went into the house they found like 13 + bodies stashed in the walls and closets.

I have compassion for the people who had their money stolen from them and those who spent time going to the graves under the impression something was there when it wasn't.  I don't have compassion for the decaying objects; serves me no use to have such compassion when I could direct that compassion towards people in the world that actually matter.
