I use Yelp to find restaurants and to leave my comments about restaurants I've been to. I have found it to be quite useful.

I use yelp a lot when I'm looking at reviews for restaurants. It's really helpful, and there are usually a lot of reviews on popular restaurants. It's a really good tool to use if you're considering a place you've never been to.

I use this to get a general idea about the variety of food, ambiance, appropriate settings for what I want to achieve... I have mixed feelings about the reviews as often times they're very varied, but I do put a bit of emphasis on certain participating members as I generally agree to their opinion and taste observation.

Beats me. I have never used it before but reading other comments about it is very informative. Thanks for posting this question and my thanks to those who have responded. Now I know something about yelp that I have never known before. Mahalo!

I use Yelp to check out any businesses we're considering using.  Such as, Automotive, Restaurant, and especially Hotels!  Yelp was a life saver on our recent move from WA State to Texas.  It was nice to be able to look up reviews on hotels and find out where the bad ones were and stick with the good ones!

Yelp is useful for reading restaurant reviews and getting an idea about the place before you visit.

I'm a foodie, so I always use Yelp to find new places to eat at. I find the reviews and pictures pretty helpful.

I really don't use Yelp much.  I did write a review on it to support a small business of a long time trainer of mine, but that's about it.

Uh, LOL, I let out a yelp when I stubbed my toe?  I seriously was not familiar with the site but since your post I thought I should check it out and see what I was missing out on.

What is yelp?! I'm not sure I've heard of it.
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)
