How do you organize your closet?

First I have my shirts then pants then suits and dresses in the back since I don't wear those as much.  I have my hamper in the front part of the closet since the shirts are shorter they don't block the hamper.

I organize my closet several times a yr. but it is never organized as nice as I really want it...too much stuff...but nothing else to get rid of

I put my jeans on the shelf and hang my dresses on hangers.

I organize by seasons. I have my winter clothes and my summer clothes.

I either have everything organized by color or type of garment.

I don't organize it that is the problem.  I am in the middle of badly needed renovations and lack of funds - I wanted to install one of those closet organizing systems and as far as clothing I would definitely do pants together, jeans together, blouses by dressy or casual and skirts then dresses.

By sleeve length then skirts then pants then dresses then my business suits.

hubby has his side i have mine,,i organize it by shirts then pants then dress clothes then coats

the closet is not really organized.  Pretty much my clothes on one side and my hubby's on the other.  Most are on hangers. But also have some clothes on the shelves.

My closets are not organized.  As long as I have enough room to hang them in the closet, things are alright for me.  My sister is an organizer.  She Irons all her clothes and put them in the closet so nicely and perfect.  I hate Ironing, so I iron as I need the item.

I organize my closet and dresser by color and kinds of clothes so all shorts go together but also by color same with shirts and types of shirts. I know im werid but it works for me!

By shirt, pants, skirts, dresses, then by color.

I keep dresses and skirts on one side, pants on opposite size and all blouses/shirts together, use part of my guest bedroom closet for coats, jackets and blazers, I am thankful we have nice size walk in closets so even using part of the guest bedroom space, there is still ample space for guest to use. That was one of the deal breakers when we were buying.

I just kind of group all similar items together my closet isn't that deep
