To get the most of my money for groceries, I shop at the dollar store first then I go to the grocery store for the rest. It seems to work for my household.

Couponing does help, and one grocery store nearby has buy one, get one free deals each week. The extra care card at CVS is also good.

It helped when we moved, but we cut out cable and got a "leaf antenna" and you get lots of stations with no monthly charges, you just have to purchase the "leaf antennna" We got rid of our land line and only have a cell phone.

well there is one thing i frogoten (hope i don't repeat on previous posts)
a friend once told me that you can make a antenna with just 2 blocks of wood and a wier hanger zig zaged between the blocks (tho stores don't have them anymore but i figured that i can look up the type of metal that they are made from).

the laundromat is actually more $ then at home (well actually it depends on load size & size of the home washer & dryer but normally its more).
my TV died today & tomorrow im buying one at the thrift store (tho its an old TV but so was the one that died & im using my smaller old TV) it'll cost 10$ but still plain to buy a flat screen when i get a god job (or more money)

I went through a phase where I had almost no money so I decided to go back to the bare essentials; a roof over my head, food and a basic land line so I could communicate.

Since then, I've found that it's a good idea to keep things simple even if I do have money.
Have a great day!

Well after my hubby died & I lost his income I very quickly found ways to lower or eliminate expenses.  We got rid of cable first.  Found a really economical cell plan & cut off the house phone.  We eat a lot of egg/breakfast meals to save food $$.

Just yesterday I wrote down how much I bring home a month and started listing all my expenses and bills. I feel like I never have enough money but I realize that I spend $10-$15 a day some weeks on breakfast and lunch and misc things like that that are not necessary. The money is there I just have to pay more attention to what I am spending it on
