i use my debit card and that's it...no credit cards, prepaid or otherwise.  way too easy to add up more debt with them!

Thanks for the information about prepaid credit cards I never thought of that. I don't have regular Credit or Debit cards because of the problem with hacking. But I will try the prepaid ones thanks.

Well I have a credit card the account number got stolen like three times so I had 3 new ones  but I'm glad I was never actually charged for the crimes other people try to do.

I have a regular credit card but we only use it if we have the money to pay it that month. That way we never pay any fees or interest.

i have credit cards,,,,,  only use 2 of them at any given times and they are paid off at the end of the month to avoid fees.  I have one of my cards hacked twice and had to have it replaced twice.  I was not charged for what the idiots bought.  thank goodness.

Always keep a good watch on your cards,,,,,  idiots can strike anytime,,,,,, not just at Christmas

I use a prepaid card which is re-loadable, and has a virtual card feature I use for shopping online. If needed, I can cancel one virtual card and create another.

Hmmm.  I am not familiar with the virtual card feature.  I just use my regular credit card and have never had any issues.  But there are very few places I shop online.  I know some people will use a card any where.
I do not trust a mom n pop online shop.
Creating virtual cards is a feature of NetSpend. This card can be re-loaded with cash by taking it to certain locations or with PayPal.

I'm glad they caught it for you.

Well I would rather use a regular credit card, but they can hurt your credit very bad and very fast so I am always careful.

Wow, that is scary. I'm glad they caught it for you. I use a NetSpend prepaid card that you can reload money on. I feel a lot safer using it, more so than my credit card.

I use my discover card all the time to get the cash back.  I save it up until I get enough to buy myself something I could not otherwise afford.  I once used my cash back to purchase my laptop

I have never used one before, but thanks for the tip about having one to shop online; given all of the identity theft going on we all must do what we can to protect ourselves.
