How do you use your avocados?

I have never bought and used them at home, but recently have found that I totally love them and have seen how easy it is to use them in many different ways. I just need to learn how to pick the best ones when I go to the market to buy them, any suggestions??

In another post I wrote about using an avocado in a recipe for corn bread muffins.  I also like putting 1/2 an avocado in smoothies.  What are some things you do with avocados?

I have made guacamole with them. Yum! I love guacamole. I also eat avocados raw as a side dish with just a little salt.

I've put them in cupcakes. They're very good for you. Good idea using them in smoothies. I normally just use fruit, but I'll give it a try.
