radioloyalty MalWare
« on: February 15, 2014, 09:02:37 am »
I have not had success playing Radioloyalty. I listen to one maybe two and the the screen turn Pinkish red and the screen say Malware go back. I tried this  5 times thinking that the problem will fix itself. I am using Chrome. It's just on this cite so far. Is there a problem with Radioloyalty.

Radio Loyalty is working OK for me today. Have you tried another browser?

I'm getting malware warnings through Chrome when I try to play the videos. The screen doesn't turn a different color, though. I get a little popup box that gives me the warning and tells me to call support with an 800 number. Then I get another screen when I close the first one and that screen is a nastier warning that I can't get out of unless I close out of that tab.

This has been happening for a couple days now and it's only happening on FC.

I use Firefox and have not been receiving these messages.  I also have Avast security which is pretty diligent in blocking potentially damaging sites  (I frequently notice that some ads don't show -- which I assume if Avast blocking the ad)

I use to use Chrome for RL, but started having problems with the captcha showing up.  Not sure whether this was related to the fact that I had added the Chrome adblocker app or not, but it did occur a couple of week after I added the app.  Finally switch back to Firefox and have pretty good results with Firefox.

It's possible that the scare tactics are honest or they may be false negative -- or they may be the malware themselves.

I'd run a virus scan with my security program and then run Malwarebytes to make sure nothing has come through.  Then try another browser.

I unchecked phishing and malware protection in chrome settings, it worked for me.  :) :)

I've been having problems with Radio Loyalty too. It takes forever to get it to show something to type for credit. I was just waiting because I thought there was some sort of glitch, but it hasn't stopped yet. It's been doing it for over a week now.  :(

I use Firefox all the time. Never had problems before. Any suggestions?

Another user in Offers was posting about Radioloyalty malware. I'm not sure why you would get a malware notice. I haven't gotten any malware notices with my virus scanner.
