I don't eat out a lot. Sometimes I grab some fist food, but that has become more rare, since my hubby has a Low Salt diet. You would be surprised how much sodium is in a fast-food hamburger! I definitely Read The Labels!

We try to eat our meals at home, but sometimes I just need a night off from cooking and we get take out.     I'd say about once a week.

Not after analyzing the family checking account last year for the first time in twenty one years. My wife makes really good money.  I make above average money. My son needed to go to a private high school that was quite pricey. My daughter is quite pricey because of extracurricular activities.  My wife said that we couldn't afford to send my son to a private school. After looking at our expenses I discovered that we were dropping roughly fifteen hundred dollars a year on fast food. Another thousand dollars was being spent at coffee boutiques. Close to forty five hundred was spent going out to eat and groceries were up at around eighteen thousand! I cut groceries down to nine thousand, coffee down to two hundred, fast food down to two hundred and forty five, and going out to eat down eighteen hundred.

Once a week my whole family goes to Denny's. It has become a tradition and we laugh because all the people at Denny's know us when we come in.
