Why do some crowdflower tasks require a login?

I'm guessing it's because they track you across multiple sites.  For some tasks it doesn't matter how many times one person does it, but for some tasks it's a strict one per person.

I'm still trying to figure that out. I can't find a way to log in either. Any idea how to do that.

As far as I know, you have to click one of the tasks. Once you're in a task look towards the upper right, you should see a timer. Click on the square box with three lines in it. In this menu there is an option at the bottom that says "login for rewards"

Click on that to take you to the crowdflower site. Register if you haven't. You'll get your own profile that keeps track of all your tasks. You can even earn achievement badges.

That does seem logical. Thanks for replying.

I had that problem too.  But I was an active participant in the Business Card Transcription task, and was sent an e-mail about being considered for more business tasks.  I have been going into Tasks every since then and haven't had any major problems with the exception of the tasks where you are asked to participate in a survey.  I tried for one paying 35 cents and one paying 34 cents.  I gave up because the site was not highlighted.  I finally took a survey paying 7 cents to do my paid to click. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :heart: :rainbow:

I do not know why they require a log in. They might be using log ins as a tracking feature.   :dontknow:

It's a 1/2 cent not 50 cents
1 = 1 cent
.50 = 1/2 cent

I thought it was 50 cents in the beginning, but it's only 1/2 cent.   You need to do 2 to get 1 cent.

I think for some it is required because of the adult content. You must be over 18 to work on those types of tasks.
