I was 5 years old when the Beatles came on for the first time.  The 50th anniversary is not until February 9, 2014, which is tomorrow.  There is supposed to be a Grammy tribute to the Beatles on CBS tomorrow.  I saw them on Ed Sullivan's show back then.  Since John Lennon was killed in 1980 by the Son of Sam and George Harrison died of cancer, the only surviving members are Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney.  It is nice to listen to their music, but I didn't know that Ringo was the drummer.   :rainbow: :star:

I never liked the Beatles or the Stones for that matter. If I had to pick I guess I would go with the Stones
but that's not saying much. :-\

I will always be a Beatles fan!  :in-love:

I saw them on Ed Sullivan when I was in my mid twenty's and lived the whole thing from then on.

The Beatles was not American. So I did not really like them or know who they was except for some funny looking men.

I'm 21 and I really like The Beatles. :) One of the radio stations here has "Beatles Wednesdays," where they play a song at the top of the hour, every hour; and on Sunday mornings have "The Beatle Years," with tidbits and facts and lots of song playing.  Usually I'm asleep for that, though, haha. But I do like them. Much better than the junky music that dominates the radio and television nowadays! :bad: :confused1: ::)

I enjoy their music for the most part (I'm 26)  but I can see why some see them as "overrated."
