Surprised to see NO Beatles topics on 50th anniversary
« on: February 06, 2014, 06:47:23 pm »
I guess Fusion Cash is just filled with youthful members.

That being said,i was in 7th grade when Beatles touchdowned in USA in 1964.

The remarkable quality of them i thought was their song-writing.Just think of the contrast between "She loves you"and "I am the walrus".

A songwriting team that i think will NEVER be touched. And yes they could sing and play very well too.

I guess you would've had to live through those times to really appreciate the impact the Beatles made to the music and pop culture at that time.

I was not around back then, however, I'm a fan of Paul McCartney

The Beatles- Legends in their own time.  The first boy band to make it big.  ;D
Great song writers - too bad they couldn't get along.

I think it's great that you are the first person on FC to bring this up. They did cover it on the national news tonight - ABC Evening News with David Muir had a spot on the Beetles: their arrival in the U.S. and Ed Sullivan appearances.

Loved the Beatles.  I got their first album on my 16th birthday. And my youngest son is a fan and gave me one of their albums; the No. 1, I think it's called. What fabulous artists.  :in-love:

I do  like beatles songs but I don't consider my self a fan. I was around in the sixties but young to like them as a group.
There is no question that they hada major impact on other groups and songwriters :peace:

I agree, even though I'm only 23, I love their music, especially songs like "I Saw Her Standing There", "In My Life", "Yesterday", and "Help".
