what is the longest you ever stayed awake

i have been up for going on 3 days i just lie there and toss all night long and i have even taken some pm tablets and nothing i am walking around in a daze hope i can sleep tonight

Why are you suffering from insomnia, what's on your mind.....I been feeling moody lately, going through some changes with my body and the 7th of this month will be the anniversary of the death of my son and the 9th my mom....so I get insomnia and very moody....hope you feel better soon....

yes i do have a lot on my mind but i have suffered fro insomnia since i was a child but it got better now it's getting bad again it is like i can't shut my brain down to go to sleep i guess i will have to go back to the doctors and get something to help but i just don't like to take medicine like that it makes me feel funky the next day

the longest sleep deprovation period for me was just over night, I've dont that a various amount of times now, when I was little though, I never stayed awake all night

I think I pulled an all nighter for a research paper in my english comp class... Procrastinated until the day before it's due (even periods of that day)... I think I was able to slip in 2 hours of sleep but I am unsure since I usually get at least 4 hours before I can roll out of my bed... Overall I was able to get the third highest grade in class (B+) for that paper, so it was all good

the longest I've stayed awake was 5 days...between work and class finals it was rough. I think I slept for 3 days afterwards

I hope you're able to get more sleep, aggie49. Insomnia is never fun. Had it pretty bad when I was little, would just stay up while everyone else in the house was asleep, literally watching the seconds tick by on my Mickey Mouse clock!  I don't know the longest I ever stayed awake, but as a teenager "nighttime" for me was day, and vice versa.  Couldn't do that now!

The longest i have ever stayed up was i think 24 hours.  I usually work overnight shift.  So i woke up at like 4p.m.  Worked from 9p-8a.  Did my errands throughout the next day.  Was tired and sleepy by 4a.m

OH MY.... I would say probably one day.... Glad I can't stay up longer; or have had to! I LOVE my sleep!!!
