Anyone personally know of any banks that will do consolidation loans when your
Credit is not the best?

I don't know of any bank, but if you have any type of account, checking, savings, anything, I would try that bank.  Most banks will try to help a customer, maybe they can give you a loan.  Good luck.

You should try clearpoint credit counseling solutions. Just google it. They are a reputable company and they're
also accredited by the better business bureau. Sign up for the debt management program. They will contact
your creditors and consolidate all of your debt. Then you agree on an amount to send them every month
or have them draft your account every month. They will send that amount to your creditors until it's all paid off.
The service is pretty good. I hope you find this useful. Take care.   ;D

I don't know of any banks that do that but I do know they are out there.  I get emails all the time about consoling debt.  Juts use your search engine that you use or even use the toolbar and to a search for it.

If you have under 15,000 dollars in debt I would recommend doing what I did. PAY off your debters. They are always willing to work with you. I basically did it on my own with NO ones help and increased my FICO score and I am now in good standing with my score almost reaching 700! Not bad for doing it on my own.

Just contact each debter, ask them how much they are willing to accept as you would like to pay off the debt as soon as possible. I owed one company $600, they allowed me to pay them $300 and once I paid them off, they report to the credit bureaus payment paid. Start with the smaller amounts and work your way up.

Monitor you own credit and score at the free sites like credit karma.

Consolidating everything in one monthly payment can be over whelming. I did not want to claim bankruptcy and consolidating seemed to be too much work. OR, this may not be for you...but something to ponder on. :)

Good luck whatever you decide! :)

I think that Lending club and prosper, both on line, are in line to replace banks for consolidation loans with people that have a few bumps in their credit.  Banks rarely do loans for anyone unless they truly don't really need it. Finance companies will crush you with the interest rate and ancillary/credit insurance costs. The interest rates appear to be fairly reasonable at the two sights that I mentioned, they report to credit bureaus so that your credit can improve, and they are fairly quick at getting you an answer. They work with non-traditional financing in just about every arena and every state.  Good luck to you !

There are companies that specialize in sub-prime loans  (loans for those with less than perfect credit). You may want to "Google" subprime lenders, subprime loans, loan consolidation loans, etc...

No - and good luck.  It is wise to consolidate if you can do it.  Being financially stretched is no fun! :P

I do not know any banks, and I personally do not trust the debt consolidators, I tried one once and they wanted their payment before they even started negotiated with the debtors, they ask you to stop paying your creditors they collect your money take their payment first, and then when they have enough $$ to negotiate with the creditor then they call and pay your dbet for you.  It could take 2 years of getting your credit score worse than when you start it.  If you do not want to file for bankruptcy then I suggest you start doing the debts on your own.  Estimate how much you own each one, pay the minimum to all  but one, pay off the smallest one first by given them more $$ every payment.  When you finish with that one, take the next one and so on.  It is the safest way

Credit Unions usually will, if you have bad credit though you might need to look into a company like Citi Financial, but they'll kill you on the interest rate.  If you do get a debt consolidation loan, just make sure to not go into anymore debt after doing that!  Or you'll end up in twice as bad of a spot.
