Getting referrals. Any tips?
« on: February 01, 2014, 12:46:58 pm »
Hello. I am looking to gain more refs. In the past I have tried telling people about FC and how great and easy it is. But seem to have no luck. So I gave up on getting refs. A few weeks ago it hit me. I going about this wrong. I'm telling people who are not interested. So I was thinking I need to go to where people are looking for this info. Well turns out people are looking for this info on sites I visit every day. Online auction sites.

What I was thinking. I could write a short guide on how I make money online. I could explain the features of FC, what I do on FC and how much I earn for my activities. I could sell the guide cheap or give it away.

What I would like to know,
1 Is my idea against any FC rules. I did not find anything saying I can't but Im only human and may have missed or misunderstood something.
2 If its not against any rules, has any done this or is doing this with any luck?

You just can't walk them through any offers and sure I have done it with some success. It's easier with a video though.

Thanks Old Buddie

Try setting up a blog. Some places they are free.

I give up on referrals lol. If a friend of mine mentions wanting to make money from home, I tell them but I feel like seeking people out never works unless they're already interested.

Sorry, I don't have any tips because I never do the referral offer.

I've noticed that a lot of people will say they want to earn extra money, but they really don't when they find out that they actually have to do a little work or they don't make as much as they want as fast as they want. I have a friend who was all about making extra money at the start and then completely fell off. It shouldn't bother me, but it really does especially when my friend is always saying there's nothing to do. I don't know why someone wouldn't want to make extra money when they're bored. You watch tv and do other boring things for free! This has made me give up on refs (at least for right now) because I'd rather have none then to have some with their name just sitting under my refs with absolutely no activity.  :BangHead: :BangHead: :bs:

The problem with that thinking, is it discounts the fact that any referral business is a numbers game. Some will, some won't, who's next?

I can say that about Fusioncash because I have over 900 referrals here, but each month only 5 or 6 cashout. It's usually not the same ones every month either and some only cashout every 4 or 5 months, but that's still free money.

I appreciate every one I can get, because you never know when one of them will see an ad somewhere or watch a video and get excited again. The money we earn can expire in six months, but our membership is still a breath away from another bonus.

You just can't spam sites with your link, but I would imagine what you have in mind is fine.

Ultimately it takes time and work to get referrals so heres someways to advertise your links & i'll name the cons & pros as i go along.
1. Online videos / pros: grate way to show what to do or where to go / cons: public disbelief because of to many con sites (somethings & or sites have rules against advertising)
2. Flyers / pros: more publication if around the right places / cons: public disbelief (same as #1) & flyers can be physically taken down by others unknown
3. Blogs / pros: same as #1 / cons: same as #1
4. Text chat / pros: person to person interaction & more exposure / cons: public disbelief & ridicule
5. tweeting on sites (facebook, twitter ect...) / pros: same as #1 / cons: same as #1
My advice be truthful as much as possible (& don't give away personal information about yourself or account information at all JUST THE TRUTH ABOUT THE SITE IT SELF) & not everyone is willing to work hard on surveys because it can be tedious (like any job in real life) & read every rule on EVERYTHING before hand :cat:
