Are you an adult that orders from kids menu?

No, because kids menu are suppose to be for kids only.  I just order less if I'm not that hungry.

sometimes the kids menu looks so good I have to order even though I'm not a little kid anymore.

The only time I order from the kids' menu is for my grandson.  I typically order from the adult menu, but it is an idea to consider.  Thanks.

i do from time to time.  mostly the happy meals from mcdonalds when i'm really not that hungry

I used to when my kids were younger.  That way I could give them the toy.  I usually opted for the big kids meal at McDonalds so I could get the larger coke.  Now that they've all surpassed the happy meal toy stage I just stick with the $$$ menu most of the time.

i am 22 and i still order from the kids menu from time to time and do not understand whats wrong with it sometimes i am not that hungry to order a full meal and kids menu is a smaller portion. I have had some people not allow me to and do not understand you are getting money who cares yes its less but i could just not have at all and just leave!!! I just do not understand why is matters does anyone else feel the same? or not?

I ordered from the kids menu this past weekend at Ihop.  And it was all I could eat.  If left up to me I would just leave if they refused to let me order what I the customer wanted.  I would also ask to see a manager before I left and most likely contact a district manager or corporate manager.  It doesn't matter.
You the customer are paying for the food.  It shouldn't be anything to the wait staff or whomever what you order.  You are paying for it just the same.  If they refuse to sell you what you want and you leave and order nothing then lose business not only from you but everyone you tell about your experience.

I still do that and I'm 50. I have a health issue that doesn't allow me to eat a large amount so kids portions suit me better.

I usually order from kids menu because the other always has too much food.  I've always asked the waitress/waiter if it was ok and have never been given any grief over it.  I also tip very well in appreciation.
