Radio Loyalty CAPTCHA code
« on: January 30, 2014, 06:55:26 am »
The captcha code comes on every ten minutes like is supposed to but then when I type in the code CORRECTLY then hit submit nothing happens.  I wait and five or so seconds later I get an error message and a new code.  Again I type in the code correctly (I mean one of them was gym bag and there is no way I typed that wrong) and again the submit button didn’t work and then I got their error message.  Anyone else having that problem?

I don’t know what’s going on with it but I get it every ten minutes but can’t get it to submit after typing the code correctly.  All I get is an error message and a new code which I type correctly and still it won’t submit and I still get an error message.  Now for three consecutive days prior to this I’ve earned enough for the bonus credit (which I did receive) and I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.  I mean if you can’t listen to radio loyalty as long as you want every day then someone should say that in the text beside the button one pushed to bring it up.

When I filled out a support ticket the tech guys fixed the problem of the code not submitting.  That enabled me to go back to earning so much I got the bonus (consecutively for a week).  Then Radio Loyalty started to act funny.  I got the code, it even submitted but I never got the credit for it.  I know it takes 1-3 hours now for credit to appear but I didn’t get any and it was SIX hours later.  When credit finally did appear it was not the full amount I know I should have had.  Can someone please explain exactly how Radio Loyalty works.  I mean are you not supposed to use it daily or if you do use it daily not to the max for the bonus credit daily because it seems that when I do once a week it doesn’t seem to work right and I end up having to fill out a ticket.  I wouldn’t mind so much if you didn’t have to earn that nickel to get the Paid to Click 15¢.  The daily email doesn’t go towards it and I never qualify for any survey so when I get the 1¢ bonus for wasting my time from it, that doesn’t count towards it either.  I think cents no matter how they are earned should go towards it but they don’t.  I usually do the videos but lately there hasn’t been enough to make the nickel.  They’ve been all the 1/2¢ and don’t help me make it so all I have is Radio Loyalty.

So I had to open up another support ticket because Radio Loylaty did not give me any credit.  The Captcha code came on every ten minutes like it’s supposed to.  I typed it correctly like I’m supposed to and the page reloaded like it’s supposed to.  But then after four hours I still didn’t get any credit.  Naturally I opened up a support ticket.  Now generally they are on target and fix the problem no hassle.  This time they closed the ticket after an hour with the excuse that my earned credits aren’t lost, ‘just not displaying properly within my account’ and that it ‘should be corrected by the end of the week.  If it’s not then open another ticket.’  Now anyone who has ever used radio loylaty knows that it’s a daily thing so if you don’t see your credits that day they’re gone.  And that doesn’t help me when the PTC needs 5¢ first and there isn’t five one cent videos.  I don’t know if they changed their support staff or what but to get a response like that they clearly don’t use radio loylaty and I got the impression like I bugged them for no reason.

I opened a ticket when Radio Loylaty didn’t give me credit.  It was closed after an hour with the excuse to wait a week and the credit should appear.  That’s totally B.S. for anyone that has ever used Radio Loylaty.  The credits come on daily.  They don’t there is a problem.  You’re supposed to fill out a ticket when there is a problem but apparently with the new staff (an it must be a new support staff ‘cuz they never did this before) they will closed the ticket on you before the problem is resolved if they feel it’s really not a problem and you just ‘panicked unnecessarily’.  TWO YEARS I’ve been using Radio Loyalty.  I know how it works.  There is a problem if the credits don’t show up the day you use it because it’s a daily thing.  Radio Loyalty doesn’t give back credits a week later.

I filled out a support ticket for this problem before and it was closed with the excuse I would receive the credit within a week but clearly whoever worked on my ticket never used Radio Loyalty.  Back credits are never given and if the credits don’t appear the day they are made then they never show up on the account.  I know this for a fact because for the last two years daily I’ve been using it.  Radio Loyalty is a DAILY task.  That’s why 1-3 hours later THE SAME DAY credit appears on the account.  One doesn’t wait a week for the credit to appear on the account.  Not for Radio Loyalty.  The credit is given daily so if it ain’t there it wasn’t given and won’t be.  If I have to wait a week for the credits I earn daily to appear that’s still a problem with Radio Loyalty!  I use it daily and have noticed that it starts to work funny after a consecutive week or two of earning the bonus cash daily.  I can’t believe the support people would frustrate me or insult my intelligence by claiming I’ll get the credits within a week.  THAT’S NOT HOW RADIO LOYALTY WORKS.  I’ve used it too long to know that.  The credits don’t show up that day I’m not getting them.  Back credits are never given and certainly not a week later when the task is daily.  If that is the case, I say again, that in itself is a problem with Radio Loyalty.

Radio Loyalty always finds a way to screw you over and it can’t just be me.  When I open the page with Google it has a tendency to die.  Then when I switch to Internet Explorer I get the ones where the CAPTCHA code to come on every ten minutes but some of them leave either when I’m about to type or when I’m in the middle of typing and I have to wait another 5 minutes for it to come back so it comes out to 1¢ every 15minutes rather than ten.  That one isn’t so bad as the ones I get (also through Internet explorer) where the code appears but the cursor doesn’t go in the spot where you are supposed to type the code.  I can click to reveal the code.  I can click for another one but I the cursor never shows up allowing me to type the code. Those *bleep* me off because it makes me feel like I’ve wasted ten minutes I can’t get back and lost a penny.  That doesn’t seem like much but when you need 5 to get the PTC every penny matters.

It seems like sometimes it gets to the 10- minute mark and the radio stops and then restarts... but no code.

Was having this problem a couple of days ago. Either the captcha wouldn't come up or when it did it was literally like for 5 seconds and then would disappear. Looks like it's working fine now though.

I have been listening to RL on FC since June, 2013 and agree that there have been  crediting problems with RL occasionally -- once last September and again in early January.   On these occasions back credits were provided in a day or so (ie not in the same day, but usually in one or two days.)

The technical problems -  that result in captchas not appearing or a submit link that doesn't work -  come and go.  They might be related to the browser being used, pop-up blockers etc etc -- or it could a glitch in the RL server.

I've had a variety of problems with the captcha not appearing at 10 min intervals or not letting me enter the code, but I usually just refresh and that tends to clear up the problem for a while.  Yes, I lose the penny (or 2) each time I have to refresh, but I still average more than 50c/day from RL.

I have not had a crediting problem with RL today -- been listening for 12 hrs and have had 70c credited so far.  If the captcha comes up and I can submit it, I'm comfortable that eventually the credit will come through.

This is what makes Radioloyalty annoying to me. I also hate how they sometimes have captchas that are impossible to solve.

Sometimes that happens when I don't enter the captcha for too long. Like if I listen to it for 30 minutes and then enter the captcha, it'll tell me the captcha is wrong even when it's not. But then it'll refresh the captcha and it'll work. Maybe try another browser?

I've never been able to get the captcha to come up.   I can tell when the captcha should come up, because the screen "jumps" slightly & the music stops playing.     Anyone know if it is possible to play it on a mobile device?  That would be a great thing, since I'm always steaming through my iphone anyway.....
