  Oh my gosh so understand I just do make bills and food - basic necessities however am grateful I am even able to do that as I wasn't able to do that a while back.  Well I hope things improve so you can save the money for a new laptop - best of luck and fortune to you.

The easiest way for me to save money is to save a bit every pay day in an online savings account. The money doesn't become available to me for a week, so I can't pull it out right away anyway.

Just start with a few bucks at time. You won't miss it.

you can always put few bucks in a shoe box or somewhere that is high and easily for you to forget but try to remember where u put it xD I always stash few amounts of money from time to time to save up for something i want and before I know it I have enough money for whatever I saved up for.Just save small amounts at a time.

Saving money in this economy is very hard. We do have a jar that we put spare change in but it takes a long time to save enough to do anything with. We don't buy extras and have a hard time paying the bills so it's hard to save money. Good luck to you. I hope you can figure out a way to get your laptop soon.

Saving is hard. Change, once it's rolled, that's it, I can't touch it. It's easier for me to save this way. When I figure up how much I have, I don't count the change.

good luck with it...i know it's hard, whenever we save anything, seems something comes up to take it.  car breaks down, laptop goes out for my son, extra high power bill.  i just try staying at home more often. if i dont go out, i cant spend as easily!
