loud people at resturants
« on: January 23, 2014, 11:46:35 am »
I took my wife out for our anniversary we rarely go any where but anyway we went to a Japanese restaurant we had never been to it before  we went in was seated at a very large table with a rill in the middle the food was cooked it was awesome but there was 6 lady also seated at the table with us birthday party they were excessively loud the birthday woman yes I said woman they were in theire fourties and were so loud that me and my wife could not even hear each other I justthink that everyone should be aware of others around them and know that they are not the only ones in the area before they came in the whole restaurant was fairly quiet

I hear ya! Bravo for that!!! There isn't anything much more annoying than trying to spend some quality time with your spouse only to have to deal with some folks who don't have any manners. It seems that  is also another sign of the times we now live in. You would think that even if you didn't get taught any manners at home that you could have enough common sense to notice that other grown-ups don't act that way out in the public. Go figure! People just amaze me at times.

There will always be those that are so into themselves that they have no respect for others. It ruins it for everyone else.

I know what you are talking about.  Those people are "rude" sometime.  I do went out a lot restaurants so I know what you're talking about.  It's very annoying to me.

I know some people just have a habit of not realizing they're a bit loud, especially an issue when people use to talk more on the phone (maybe a few of the fortunate benefits of people's obsession now with web/instant message/text). I know it's rude when I'm around people like that, but I seldom comment as I think I can be a little loud too (but usually on the phone at work).

I hate loud people at restaurants. If I'm paying all of that money I want to be able to enjoy my meal.

I really don't like it when people are so inconsiderate of others like that. However, I'd rather hear people being loud laughing and having a good time with each other than people arguing, kids having fits/crying, inappropriate conversations that should be kept at a low level or in private, and the worst one for me is hearing people eat. I don't want to hear you eating/chewing your food. Have some manners please!

I do not like noisy people when I am trying to have a relaxing dinner.  Cell phones are terrible!  Who wants to listen to a one sided conversation, and people are so loud, its like they are deaf or something.

Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

When on dates this does get annoying. I sometimes use yelp to determine the noise level, but even then this is not a full proof way. I have requested to be transitioned more than once in the past to a different seating due to this.
