Most of everything goes in the dishwasher.  Big things, hand wash.

Our dishwasher broke so we wash them by hand.

Dishwasher hasn't worked too good in years so I always do it by hand.

I do the same thing you do - wash pots and pans by hand, but pretty much everything else goes in the dishwasher. I am not sure how much work a dishwasher actually saves, since I rinse everything off before putting it in the dishwasher (which is practically washing the thing by hand), but I like the idea that the dishwasher sterilizes the dishes with really hot water, so I am sure they are really clean.

The good old fashion way - by hand.

I wash my dishes by hand.  I fill an old detergent bottle with a little bleach and fill the rest with water.  I squirt that in the dishwater to keep things sanitary, especially if someone in the house is sick.

I wash dishes by hand.  It is really a relaxing time for me, just to forget about everything else and just enjoy the nice hot water.

Mostly I wash my dishes by hand, sometimes dishwasher is not as clean as by hands, especially for big oil pot.
