I was also bored late afternoon so I organized some papers, prepared my work bag, ironed a shirt and laid out all of my cloths for work tomorrow.

Do not waste this day.  You don't know how many you have left.  Have you called your mother lately? I think you should go through your clothes and take the stuff you never wear to Good Will or some other charitable organization. That's what I'm doing to day.

I agree do something like giving to good will or go do some volunteer work at a
homeless shelter, school ot the hositipal.

When I am bored I turn on my computer and get to surfing. There are a lot of activities to do on the internet. Log in to your FC account and do a couple of surveys.

When I am bored I always get my computer and try to earn money and I always have my computer games.  I also watch TV while I am on the computer.  But than again I don't like to leave my home or my bedroom for that matter, unless I am hungry or need to use the bathroom.  I have several sites that I do to make a little money.  I which I can make it all on a monthly basses so I can have a steady income.

Being old or older ok just old I don't allow bored unless I have to. they say life is short when you get old you realize it even more. I will go to youtube and watch  when I'm bored or read but the book has to not be boring.
