staying out of the way - avoiding an accident

Sometimes, it's best to stay out of a situation, not get involved.
It could be a physical confrontation that you could avoid or a situation that affects you indirectly, yet you aren't responsible for.

It's amazing how many people don't watch what they're doing or where they are going [ walking or operating a scooter].

yeah...there's nothing like seeing an obese person on a scooter in Walmart riding around not caring who they run into because they have given up caring about anything except going in to Walmart to ride the scooter and spend their food stamps on more soda & junk food!!  If Walmart really wanted to help people live better, they'd save the scooters for those with handicapped license plates and make the others walk.  For some, that would be the only excercise they'd get!

(BTW, I don't understand how some folks can get on those scooters and act like they are "so special".  I guess it's because they have no clue as to what has actually been on those scooters...because  no one in their right mind would get on one of those if they did, not even if it were covered with a tarp!!) LOL

Read this carefully some obese people do have problems walking but its not because there obese its because they have real medical conditions. You look at an obese person and say that he or she is lazy an doesn't want to walk or exercise but your wrong. I had a brother who was obese and he had trouble walking but it wasn't from being obese he was dying of cancer. My brother walked to the day he got cancer and he walked until one day the cancer got werse. The cancer he had was of his bones then it went to his brain. After that it took my brothers independence away. My brother did everything for himself before all of this and he was obese and hard working and proud that he was working and didn't really on the government to help him and his family. My brothers now gone, so when you see an obese person have compation for that person and don't nock that person down because of his or her weight. Look at them for who they are and think that it could be you one day.

you cant predict an accident, there are some precautionary measures you can take though, like obeying all the laws of that particular game you are playing, whether its life or business, but the obivious dangers can be avoidedif you are smart

To Teamangle,

Good for you for defending other people like the obese people that others that don't know what those obese people do or how they struggle. Not all obese people stuff their faces with food or don't care. Some are sick and depressed for some reason there are other factors that and obese person have and that's why they are like that.

sometimes you just can't avoid a situation no matter what. my sister was rear-ended due to cold temp. and snow the other day in new jersey. no damage was done and she is ok but she couldn't have avoided that accident. as far as people are concerned, you can avoid certain people for those you can't pick your words and conversations wisely.
