My husband and I are both at our highest weights since getting married 2 years ago.
And I blame his family's delicious cooking!

We've both wiped out all the junk food in our kitchen and stocked up on healthy food to try and get back down to a reasonable weight.

Yes I overate a lot in the past few weeks. Heavy on the pies for dessert and chips and Fritos for snacking and all the chocolate I got for gifts, OMG. I have gained at least 5 pounds. Now for how to get it off again! Got any suggestions?  :-\

I try not to, but it's so hard with everybody pushing cookies on me and giving me candy. They mean well, but my belly doesn't need it.

I overate on sweets and chocolates. Considering it was the holidays I still did pretty good.

Almost never overeat, even on the holidays. It makes me feel horrible and I can't stand gaining weight as a result.  ::)

There's nothing good about that.

It does require some forethought and self-discipline to keep your mind on not overeating, especially when you're with other people who are self-indulging, but it's worth the effort.  :angel11:

It's called mindless eating when you don't think about what or how much you're eating.  :-[

Think about it.  ;)

I probably did over eat, but I tried really hard not to.  If I had a plate of food, I made sure there was space around each bit to ensure I wasn't overloading my plate.  If the place we ate at had salad, I made sure to load up on that instead of potatoes or meat.  I didn't check my weight before hand so I don't know if I gained or not, but I am about even with what I was the month before.

way too much overeating - mostly sweets and holiday cookies - put on four pounds!  And those pounds are so much harder to take off than to put on!

I know what you mean! I was on a diet before the holidays and had lost quite a bit and am now scared to see how much i put back on.

Although I can't say I really ate too much, I can say I definitely indulged in all the goodies so now I must return to being "normal" which is not that easy, I will admit.
