my husband and i got to get the kiss in and drink a champagne toast  nice and romantic dinner and relaxed on the sofa talking about his day

Slept.  The new year will com in whether I am fighting to stay awake or not. lol

It was an all around wonderful day. I took the day off from one job and worked my other job until four in the afternoon which means it was double the pay for me. Than I went to a great dinner at a Fondue restaurant and my kids couldn't stop telling me what a wonderful Christmas they had had. Then we walked around downtown Denver until the first round of fireworks began at nine. Then we went to a neighbors house and played board games until four in the morning! I was also the lucky recipient of the midnight champagne and kiss! Then I got up at eight and have been working my second job since then and will probably go until seven while getting Holiday pay from my daytime job!

My hubby and I took his mom out to lunch. Then we're going to out to my brother's house for another family dinner.  So much food!

We went to church last night to bring in the New Year.  This church was not our regular church and it was small.  We spent time listening to seven pastors (our pastor was number 5 and the pastor up the street from us was #6) and some good singing by the choir (only three of our members were in this choir, which consisted of members of 7 churches).  We were released at 12:31 am and returned home to get more bad news.  My husband's great nephew was in a bad wreck and is in the hospital.  My hubby and I spent the night enjoying each other's company.  Hope your New Year's was quiet and uneventful.

Happy New Year!  I brought in the new year at church then came home with my husband had a toast and when to bed.

I was asleep until my daughter called at midnight.  I got up early New Year's Day and went to my 90 year old Granny's for New Year's Day dinner.

New years Eve the family got together and had a Ham, beans and cornbread for dinner.  Played games until about 11 p.m. than drove over to Arlington to watch the fireworks display.
