I'm watching the '*bleep* Clark's New Year's Rockin` Eve,' but am disappointed by it. The Big Ball dropped ... AT ELEVEN! And probably hours-earlier or -later for most of you  >:(

Why don't the broadcasters organize their broadcast-schedules so that things broadcast happen at the clock-time they happen (rather than at the actual 'moment' they happen) so that watchers get the feeling that that they're watching themselves in history or in the future rather than 'actually being there'?

Did you feel like it was 'a new year' when it was 12 midnight in your time-zone or -when it was 12 midnight in the '+0' time-zone?

It drops at midnight by their time.  It was 12 midnight here an hour later than at my aunt and uncles house.
Just how it is.
