Flu Going Around
« on: December 27, 2013, 08:24:06 am »
Do you think there is some kind of flu going around?
I noticed since december alot of people have been sick..
It's more and more people everyday..
My friend started out with a sore throat..
Couple weeks later i got a sore throat
My mom now has a sore throat
Our neighbor has been sick for 2-3 weeks straight
Lots of people at the church are getting sick..
I'm starting to wonder is there something in the air?
Or is there a flu going around?
Half here just has throat problems
Other half is sick
Makes yah wonder

People are always sick in the winter.  Most people just have a cold.  I had one last week.

There is only one solution folks. Wash those hands with SOAP. If you are sick stay home a couple days. Germs are more active in the cold weather than in the warm days of summer. I am no doctor, but I have tried these principles and it worked for me. Some of you are interested in the flu shot but at my age, I don't need any flu shots thank you very much! I haven't been sick since 2009.

We have stayed pretty healthy...no major flu! Hopefully we can escape that this year!

I had a bad chest cold that lasted 3 days, but thankfully it's gone now.

I think my husband is coming down with something; he kept me up most of the night coughing in his sleep!  I hope I am wrong.  I just started a new job, and I can't afford to get sick now!   :(

I get the flu every single year. I refuse to get the flu shot however because I believe they are trying to slowly kill the population with the things they put in flu shots. The earth is already overpopulated. What better way to minimize the population than to sneakily kill people off with flu shots/? I don't know, I'm just scared and would rather build up immunities the natural way.

Surprisingly I have not seen any report on tv or radio to suggest that there is any break out of the FLU recently.

My sinuses have been bothering me for about 2 weeks now. My throat is starting to hurt and I'm really exhausted. Hope I'm not coming down with anything. But if I am I think I'll take this over what I had last December. I had the stomach flu and that's by far the sickest I've ever been.

Some people can't stay home.  Most places don't allow you to call in sick and if you do you have to have a doctor excuse.  I can't go to the doctor especially for a cold.  And where I work even with a doctor excuse it counts against you.  I agree if you do not work then you should stay at home.  But most people when they are sick go to Walmart.  Have not figured that out yet.

I haven't noticed it where I live, but I did hear some people in my mother's nursing home coughing a few weeks ago. It was quiet there yesterday though.  It usually spreads like wildfire in nursing homes.

IF millions died from the flu shot every year I would be more inclined to agree with this.  I find it odd that you get the flu every single year.  I have never had the flu.  NEVER!  And since you get it every single year you obviously are not building up any immunity. lol.  I do know a woman personally who had a reaction to a flu shot and she is not in a wheel chair.  I have never taken the flu shot and I never will.
