I'm so glad your brother is doing better, I will continue to pray for a full recovery for him.  I'm so sorry about the dog, I'm sure your brother is upset about him, but he must work on doing everything the therapists say, and hopefully he will be 100% better soon.

Last week my older brother blacked out in his home and woke up on the floor around 24 hours later.  He's now in the hospital and his diabetic dog is refusing food.  They are in the jackson Michigan area.  Luckily he has great friends near by, but I live in NM and am unable to travel to him.  He's my only sibling.  Please send him, his dog and all his caregivers your prayers and healing energy.  Thank you.   

I just found out last night when he missed our weekly call.

I just spoke with him today.  He's doing great with his physical therapy, but needs to get out for an errand day to take care of some urgent business.  His doctor is okay with the idea, but he needs them to facilitate the trip or else he'll have to sign out and loose the rest of the PT.  Even that would require his truck being delivered there...  I agree his PT is very beneficial, but these money matters are critical.  Once we get past this the home stretch should be easier.

Thank you everyone, it's helping, but he's not home yet.

Well, he stumbled on the way into the meeting so they denied him even a furlough, at this time.  He's determined to get back on his own.  Right now I'm waiting for a check so I can put more minutes on my Tracfone and can call him again.  He has friends he trusts there, but as of last Friday (about three weeks after his accident) they hadn't even brought him a change of clothes.  He hasn't mentioned my card so it's my understanding they didn't bring him his mail, even just the Christmas cards, either.  Without going into detail lets just say I've gotten a hard time from them, as if this situation isn't stressful enough.  I don't even know if Abby (his dog) has been put down yet.
