No I have prepay so I don't want to wast my minutes on calling for someone in the same home.  I can't afford to buy the unlimited so we get so many minutes and so many texts.  Actually I have not put anytime on my phone so we only have my girlfriends phone which she needs for the school her son goes to and her job.  She has a mother and sister who are disabled and sometimes they need her so she keeps a phone turned on just in case.

we have a land line so sometimes when we're being silly or joking around but usually get up or yell across the house.

My husband does this to me all the time and it drives me crazy!  Most of the time my phone is sitting in the room where he is calling from!!
Have a wonderful day!

Yes, my husband and I call each other all the time even though we are located in the same house. This is because you can't hear anything a person on the second floor calls down to a person on the first floor or vice versa and because we are too lazy to walk to the other floor. Calls between our cell phones are also free because we are on the same family plan.  :)

I do it only as a joke, but I also have prepaid so I have to be careful with my minutes.

Actually, I live alone but get caught up in talking with people who need directions to my house. I go outside and see them coming and tell them I'm hanging up. I always feel weird about that for some reason.

In the UK my sister used to pick up the landline phone in her bedroom and then put it down - it created a clicking sound on the landline phone downstairs in the lounge. Her husband would then pick up the phone down stairs and ask her what she wanted. She wanted a cup of tea!
